Pleasantly surprised. We have passed this place up many times because of the location. It's in a strip mall behind a gas station. Inside is clean and inviting. We were immediately greeted and placed our order for dine in. Less than 10 minutes our food came out. They seeve good authentic Jamaican dishes. We had jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. We also had a beef patty with coco bbread. Our food was served fresh and hot. We will be back.

Their restaurant is beautiful you can see their investment to grow in the community just on presentation alone but let’s get down to business the food. It’s been a minute since I had some good oxtails with peas and rice along with a side of cabbage. I ordered the large plate considering past locations left me hungry but lord oh lord not here. A fair portion of all was given. So much that there’s a solid meal left over. Oxtails were small in size however, the portion was generously fixed for the sizes. Cabbage was perfectly cooked and with some of the brown sauce poured on top of the rice without asking just set it all off perfectly. Purchased with a Jamaican Kola the meal was above and beyond. I included a photo of my plate and their menu. I strongly STRONGLY suggest going there supporting their restaurant and the community! I cannot wait to return and try other offering Update: Chicken Curry fire, beef patties fire, chicken pattie fire! This IS the SPOT!!!!! Go show love . Sorry, should have taken photos before I put a dent in the tray but all is fireee

Today we got the Oxtails, Jerk Chicken and the Brown Gravy Shrimp. All three had rice and peas, and cabbage as sides. First off they fill the containers to the max!! Everything was 100% rock solid authentic and delicious. They totally deserve 6 stars!!

First time customer. The restaurant was clean and the gentleman that helped me was polite as he made recommendations. The service was fast; I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The jerk chicken and stewed chicken meals were fantastic. We ordered the small but the portions were very generous. The beef patty was also good with just a little kick. Also, try the rice and peas. They were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend.

Jacksonville's got its own little slice of Jamaica, and it's called Yah Suh Nice Jamaican Cuisine on Baymeadows Road. I've been around the block a few times, trying out different Jamaican spots, but this one's got its own magic. I went for the curry chicken, and it was love at first bite. My sister opted for the jerk chicken with rice and peas, and we both agreed it was some of the best Jamaican food we've had in ages. The spices were spot-on, and the ingredients were clearly fresh. But here's the thing: the customer service was top-notch. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel like we were part of the family. And don't even get me started on the fresh juices - they're a game-changer. We're thrilled to have a legit Jamaican spot near Bartram, and Yah Suh Nice is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Jamaican cuisine! #YahSuhNiceJamaicanCuisine

Best rice and peas around, the food is great but for me the rice and peas is what makes it special. I believe they added coconut milk that brings a sweet and creamy hint of coconut to the rice which is my favorite.
